| Freight Consolidation Services, Inc. has provided the shipping needs of door to door cargo operators in the west coast for almost a decade. Fierce competition in the market has influenced these operators to collaborate, or face the threat of being forced out of business by their bigger competitors. Such collaboration gave birth to an alliance that was pioneered and developed by Freight Consolidation Services, Inc. As a non competitor to these operators, the company acts as the Consolidator and Intermediary to all the participants. To date, the alliance is shipping out more than 3,000 boxes per month. This demonstrates the success of the alliance in achieving cost reduction, efficiency, convenience and improved profitability through collaboration. This volume is the result of the combined production of about (9) small to medium scale operators spread throughout California, Arizona and Nevada. As Consolidator and Intermediary to these door to door operators, the company provides the following services: |
• Provision of warehousing facility and services to the participants. In exchange for consolidating their boxes, Freight Options is providing the participants storage, receiving and loading services for free, thus, assuring them significant savings.
• Provision of regular and timely schedule of cargo departures, consolidation of the same cargo and development of loading plans for each consolidation.
• Processing and clearing of all consolidations with Philippine Customs Bureau.
• Delivery of boxes directly to their consignees and providing each participant with signed Proof of Deliveries (POD) and pictures of actual receipt of the boxes. |
